The standout accessory trends spotted on the Spring/Summer 2015 runways. Here is an ultimate guide for the six most popular accessory trends of spring/summer15.

Belts:  Accentuating the waist, they create looks that embrace femininity and balance the man-wardrobe like pieces we saw in many collections. Whether they are leather, tulle or metal, worn with dresses, gowns, trousers or coats, they are a must-have.

Backpacks: Spring designers re-imagined the grade-school staple and are offering a variety of chic leather backpacks, in exotic skins and colors that are sleek enough for work or a night out.

T-Bars: These heels are a combination of chic and sexy. It takes two to tango; and by two we mean maybe two pairs of them? It is hardly possible to choose among these beauties. Perfect powder, blue leather at Altuzarra or silk and velvet embroidered leather with metallic flower studs at Dolce&Gabbana? Oh, and there are also a couple of pairs at Mary Katrantzou and Bottega Veneta!

Mules: The perfect hybrid between a sandal and a full-on shoe, They undoubtedly belong in the easy-to-wear, comfy shoe category. We’ll be wearing them through spring, summer, and fall.

Platforms: Sprouting up on this season’s runways, they were simply stunning. Minimalistic, east-to-wear pairs at Salvatore Ferragamo, Michael Kors and Roberto Cavalli, sky-high baroque flower printed ones at Miu Miu, 70’s inspired glitter ones at Saint Laurent; there is a huge pool to choose from.

The envelope clucth: Day-to-night pieces are always welcomed, as they are life saviors when we are extremely BUSY. The envelope clutch is one of them. We saw big ones that go from work to cocktail, night appropriate at Dries van Noten and Giorgio Armani and smaller ones at Loewe, Balenciaga and more.
