At Paris’s Pinacothèque de Paris gallery, Lagerfeld’s photographic endeavors are the subject of a new exhibit, open now through March 20, 2016.
“He knows exactly what he has in the frame. There are no accidents, no surprises,” Eric Pfrunder, Chanel’s image director and co-curator of “Karl Lagerfeld, a Visual Journey,” told WWD. Staged at the Pinacothèque de Paris art gallery, the exhibition demonstrates the breadth of Lagerfeld’s photographic vocabulary, with Polaroid transfers, daguerreotypes, platinotypes, resinotypes, screen prints, Fresson prints and digital prints.
