Felipe Oliveira Baptista said he channeled a “futuristic ski vibe” for fall. Lacoste provided the French Olympic Team with uniforms in the Sixties — the designer injected this fun, youthful lineup with sporty references. Women’s knit dresses and pants featured side bands and were paired with color-block sweaters with a vintage feel and oversize puffers in a pattern resembling the grain of wood. Graphic images of skiers were embroidered on a flared skirt with a matching top, while ski gloves were attached to the sleeves of sweaters and jackets via zippers. For a more urban look, the designer delivered covetable shearling pieces — including an indigo vest and a reversible coat — along with cool parkas and skirts worked in jersey-backed vinyl for comfort.
