Alexander Wang presented his fall 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week. Intent on showing his rebellious side, Alexander Wang riffed on punks, prepsters, ladies, streetwear and an apparent obsession with pot in his fall collection, shown in a church. Strict, faded, tender, and girls were some of the words that came emblazoned across the fronts of sweaters, on beanies, and on the thighs of tights. There were studded booties, stomping combat boots, and high-top sneakers, but the most unexpected shoe on the Wang runway was a creeper-soled Wallabee. It’s official, the ’90s are back!
