Louis Vuitton Picks Niterói Museum for Cruise Show

Louis Vuitton will show its cruise 2017 collection at yet another architectural landmark. After showing at Palm Springs Bob Hope estate ,  Nicolas Ghesquière chose a landmark building by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer – Niterói Museum in Rio de Janeiro. The event is scheduled for May 28.

Ghesquière told the paper that “[it’s] about being transported into a relationship where nature, geography and architecture come together.” The museum, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, has never been the site of a fashion show before, but its signature red ramp will double nicely as a red carpet for the show’s celebrity guests.
