Presented at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Dior’s interim designers Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux delivered a spectacular couture collection in black and white with some gold accents. The inspiration based on the silhouette of Christian Dior’s 1947 New Look Bar jacket with a modern take of more loosened shapes, paired with full flared, pleated skirts. The gold revealed itself variously with relative flamboyance, in embroidery on a jacket, or utter discretion, in a fine line of sequins edging the hem of a long skirt. See the full collection below.
