For his fall couture collection for Schiaparelli, Bertrand Guyon took inspiration from the house founder’s famous circus collection of 1938. The show took place at the house’s headquarters in the Place Vendôme. The collection was focused on high-polish tailoring and grand eveningwear. There were extreme, built-up shoulder constructions, embroideries of jugglers, clowns. He countered the circus euphoria with draped goddess gowns, some in soothing constellation prints.See the full collection below.
