Yesterday, Jason Wu showcased his spring/summer 2017 collection at Spring Studios’s private club, which was accessorized with mid-century furniture and flowers by Putnam & Putnam.
The designer drew inspiration from Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone. “The vibrant colors of his creation ‘Seven Magic Mountains’ left an indelible mark on me for Spring,” he told W magazine.
The show opened up with wool pieces, followed by more colorful pieces with pops of neon details and flower appliques that were present throughout his playful collection.There was a lineup of sexy sheer dresses with zigzagging midriff trims.
