Karl Lagerfeld presented Fendi’s spring summer 2017 collection at Milan fashion week. The 56-piece collection was inspired by Marie Antoinette’s hangout in the grounds of Versailles. The show opened up with military-inspired stripy looks, followed by big palazzo pants paired with crop tops, asymmetric layered mini dresses pinched at the waist, there were some ethereal sheer dresses. The color palette was ranging from apricot, gold, silver, pastel hues to burgundy and marigold.
The models were wearing glittery lips, pastel-toned eyeshadows and sleek ponytails, thanks to makeup artist Peter Philips and hair stylist Sam McKnight.
Fendi also unveiled the latest addition to the eye-wateringly expensive range of accessories that drive the company’s revenues. The Kan I study lock bag comes covered in candy-coloured studs, rosette embroidery and floral ribbons.
