Bouchra Jarrar presented her first fashion show for Lanvin during the Paris Fashion Week. Held in the dramatic Hôtel de Ville, the presentation included many of Jarrar’s signatures, from feathers to slim-cut jackets, as well as a sense of joy that is classic Lanvin. She said her collection was for “women who love, and women who love to be loved.” And women who love to spend a lot of time in their boudoirs, by the looks of a collection that specialised in the sheer, the filmy, the floaty.
The show opened with white suit, worn with a long striped silk button-down tunic and accessorized with floral brooches and ties at the neck. Followed by feather-trimmed jackets, and a couple of cropped leather jackets. There were striped robes layered over stock-tied blouses and pyjama pants, or a pique bib-front shirt with black pants.
