For Gucci’s cruise 2018 collection designer Alessandro Michele showcased a collection inspired by the Renaissance era, which revealed the heart and soul of Gucci origins. Staged at the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, the collection included pearls, printed tees and Renaissance-inspired dresses.

“I like popular culture and this is the reason why I like the Renaissance because it is super pop. Pop means we all understand it and admire it.”
